I do commissioned portraits as well as gardens paintings. The portraits are done from photos provided by you, if you are far, or ones I take myself, if you are near.

Portraits/ figurative: I work in several styles, including small collaged watercolors on paper and large mixed media figures on panels. I equally enjoy working small or large. I like to talk on the phone beforehand to determine what general style of mine that you are looking for, and size, then I'm off to work and send photos of the painting when it's about done. I am not hostile toward revisions, but generally avoid that path because the painting can get weird when there are two voices in my head. It's a painting, an interpretation, a unique work of art- with the intention of being embraced as such. 

Garden paintings: I do large versions of these on panel and sometimes do smaller works on paper, especially if requested in a series of several. I work in the size preferred, then pretty much do my own thing with these, but I like to have a conversation first to see what aspects of the gardens you are drawn to.
